ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,346,759 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 27 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 16,346,759 Covid-19 cases, this includes 312,920 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,301,193 people (144,254 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,475,293 people (53,664 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,844,969 people (31,930 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,407,022 people (22,101 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,187,481 people (37,165 deaths)
- Myanmar: 534,503 people (19,310 deaths)
- Singapore: 327,602 people (850 deaths)
- Laos: 131,432 people (533 deaths)
- Cambodia: 121,116 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 16,148 people (98 deaths)
